Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification or progress toward certification (CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze balance sheet and P&L accounts, investigate variances, and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve items.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end close deliverables while maintaining internal controls and reporting requirements.
• Apply accounting knowledge and judgment to support accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support initiatives focused on simplification, standardisation, automation, and efficiency.
• Leverage automation and digital tools to streamline accounting processes and reporting.
