The role of Finance and Administration Manager is to lead financial governance, budgeting, reporting, cash flow management, and controls while advising on strategic financial decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management.
• At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• CPA or CMA qualification is preferred; MBA or Master's Degree is an advantage.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
• Experience managing audits, taxation, statutory compliance, and internal controls.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, and financial regulations.
• Excellent financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, advanced formulas, and financial modeling.
• Experience using ERP systems and cloud-based accounting software.
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate financial information into business insights.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to develop financial strategies that improve business performance.
• Experience collaborating across multiple business functions to support operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with statutory and company requirements.
• Prepare management accounts and financial performance reports for senior leadership.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and recommend improvements.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
• Lead the annual budgeting process with department heads.
• Develop and maintain rolling forecasts to support business planning.
• Monitor spending against budgets and recommend corrective actions.
• Support long-term financial planning and capital investment initiatives.
• Monitor daily cash flow and working capital.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury.
• Maintain robust financial controls and accuracy of records.
• Identify opportunities to improve cash flow and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards and taxation.
• Maintain internal controls, policies and governance.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks; manage audits and implement recommendations.
• Evaluate financial impact of new opportunities and investments.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and profitability improvements.
• Provide financial guidance to support sustainable growth.
• Collaborate with HR, Sales, Operations, and Procurement to support objectives.
• Support payroll processes and reconciliations.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, insurers, and government agencies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team for high performance.
