Convene in Manila, Philippines is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage the Accounts Payable section and support end-to-end bookkeeping for financial closing periods. The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, timely reporting, and adherence to internal policies.

The position is full onsite with a 6-month fixed-term employment; a background check and NBI clearance are required, and the candidate should be fluent in English with strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Finance/Accounting background advantageous.
• 2–5 years of related General Accounting experience.
• Experience in end-to-end bookkeeping and year-end finalization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; fast-paced environment.
• Able to maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Manages the Accounts Payable section with timely, accurate processing of transactions.
• Assists in managing all accounting transactions and in preparing a complete set of accounts.
• Maintains accurate financial records and prepares timely reports for internal and operational use.
• Prepares and publishes financial statements per reporting schedules.
• Handles monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
