Job summary

TASQ is seeking a senior Finance & Accounting leader in Ortigas (Pasig) to oversee month-end close, ensure accurate financial statements, and optimize P2P, O2C, and R2R processes.

The role leads the accounting team, coordinates internal and external audits, and supports budgeting and cash flow forecasting for strategic decisions.

Candidates should have 5–7 years of finance experience, at least 2 years in supervision, and CPA or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role leading a team.
• Direct experience in Retail and/or BPO sectors mandatory.
• Extensive hands-on experience with P2P, O2C, and R2R frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Finance; CPA or equivalent preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight: Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial statements are prepared in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Process Management: Direct and optimize the core financial cycles, including Purchase-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R).
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the accounting staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and operational excellence.
• Compliance & Audit: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all statutory requirements and tax filings are completed accurately and on time.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist executive leadership in financial planning, variance analysis, and cash flow management to support strategic business decisions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
• Leadership Experience: At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role, with a proven track record of leading a team.
• Industry Background: Direct experience working within the Retail and/or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sectors is mandatory.
• Technical Proficiency: Extensive hands‑on experience with P2P, O2C, and R2R frameworks.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (CPA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and financial software.
• Strong understanding of local accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non‑finance stakeholders.
• High level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
