Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking a Finance and Accounting Assistant Manager to supervise daily financial operations at our Pasay on-site office.

You will coordinate with our outsourced accounting firm to assure accurate reporting and strong controls while supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance, 3–5 years of supervisory experience, and strong MS Excel skills with QuickBooks and QNE familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• 3-5 years in finance/accounting with supervisory/managerial exposure.
• Proficient in MS Excel; QuickBooks (QB) and QNE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations and coordinate with outsourced accounting firm.
• Planning & Budgeting: Lead annual budgets, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Analysis & Pricing: Review quotation rates for brokerage/forwarding and present reports to the CEO.
• Process Optimization: Improve internal workflows, controls, and financial policies.
