Role description
The Fin Ops Specialist will support GTSO leadership by providing accurate, timely, and trusted financial, cost, and operational insights. The role acts as a focal point for cost transparency, FinOps reporting, procurement data coordination, and financial governance across GTSO services.
Role accountabilities
- Coordinate monthly GTSO cost, consumption, and variance reporting; ensure data accuracy, validation, and traceability across financial and operational sources.
- Own and maintain BI dashboards and financial reports used by GTSO leadership; continuously improve clarity, usability, and insight value.
- Coordinate procurement, invoicing, and vendor data with Finance and Commercial stakeholders; verify data sources and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure financial and cost data follows agreed governance standards, definitions, and control checks; support audit and management review activities.
- Act as the primary GTSO coordination point for cost and reporting topics; collaborate with the Digital domains, Commercial, and Finance teams globally.
- Provide timely reporting of Cloud costs to ensure cross charges can take place according to Finance cycle.
- Provide 3rd line support for any Cloud costs related topics.
- Responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with GTSO Service Owners, Finance and Procurement teams, BI / Data and Analytics stakeholders.
- Support financial transparency and predictability forecasting across the GTSO.
- Enable informed decision-making for leadership.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of FinOps practices.
- Maintain accuracy and trust in management reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong experience in financial reporting, business intelligence, financial operations, or cost management within global professional services, technology or shared services environments.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial management principles, reporting processes and cost optimization practices, with the ability to support informed decision making and operational performance.
- Proven experience developing, maintaining and analyzing financial and operational reports, dashboards and performance metrics that provide meaningful insights to business and technology stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to evaluate complex datasets, identify trends and translate findings into actionable recommendations that support business objectives.
- Proficiency in business intelligence, reporting and data visualization tools, with experience producing accurate, timely and insightful reporting for a range of stakeholder groups.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data quality, with the ability to maintain accuracy, consistency and integrity across financial, operational and performance reporting activities.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently within a global, matrixed organization, managing priorities effectively while collaborating across functions, regions and teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders and communicate complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and evolving environment, maintaining focus on quality, responsiveness and stakeholder outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate reporting requirements, manage deadlines and deliver high quality outputs consistently.

- Degree level education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics or another relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional certification or advanced qualification preferred, such as CIMA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, Finance Analytics or a related field, or equivalent experience within complex global organizations.
