Job summary

A telecommunications services provider is looking for a Passive Site Services (PSS) Technician to maintain and ensure the availability of telecom cell site infrastructure. The role includes conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on power systems, generators, and batteries across multiple sites. Candidates should have a diploma in engineering with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in telecom maintenance. The position is field-based with travel requirements and on-call duties for emergency maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in telecom cell site maintenance.
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to SLA.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and on-call corrective maintenance.
• Inspect and maintain AC/DC power systems and conduct routine inspections of batteries.
• Carry out routine generator servicing and monitor generator output.
• Inspect earthing systems and report any abnormalities on telecom towers.

Skills
