Job summary

Universal (Far East) Pte Ltd is seeking a field technician to install and configure equipment in the Philippines’ Nueva Ecija area. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and document performance logs while reporting progress to supervisors.

The role requires an engineering diploma, independent work capability, and good communication, with PLC experience being a plus. Local travel and field assignments are involved.

Qualifications

• ITE/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronic/Aerospace/Aeronautical Eng with relevant experience.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience with PLC and other industrial control machinery is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring equipment and systems in the field.
• Performing routing maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is operational.
• Troubleshooting and repairing faults in equipment and systems.
• Recording and maintaining logs of equipment performance and maintenance activities.
• Communicating technical issues and progress to supervisory personnel.
• Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain secure working environments.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
