Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) is seeking an Implementation and Application Support professional to deploy software packages at customer sites and resolve complex issues across WAS, Jboss, Java EE, and database environments.

The role requires 4+ years in customer support within banking or warehousing contexts, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel for on-site support and 24x7 operations. Join a global technology leader focused on secure payments and currency technology.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in computer science or related field.
4+ years in a customer support role with banking/warehousing experience desirable.
Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, multitasking and great organizational skills.
Flexibility to work long hours and travel; able to handle high pressure in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

Implement software packages at customer sites.
Respond to and troubleshoot customer software issues for G+D SWS products.
Ensure issues are resolved within contracted SLA times; provide onsite assistance.
Document issues in G+D's issue tracking system and reproduce issues in test environments.
Lead implementation activities at customer sites and provide training on software as required.
Create documentation (Support/Training) as required and maintain customer relationships.
