Job summary

Dräger is seeking a seasoned service/engineering professional to support and maintain safety and protection equipment, manage service orders, and communicate technical information to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.

You will diagnose malfunctions, perform commissioning and preventive maintenance, coordinate with Service and Logistics, and mentor junior engineers while leading service-related projects and emergency responses to support client needs.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in service or engineering roles within the Oil & Gas or Process industries.
• Hands-on experience with instrumentation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned service orders from initiation through completion, coordinating with Service, Logistics, and other departments.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and internal stakeholders, providing updates on technical issues and delivery schedules.
• Perform equipment commissioning, contract maintenance, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, service documentation, and warranty repairs.
• Independently diagnose equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency service requests to minimize downtime.
• Prepare and communicate technical findings, service reports, and recommendations.
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-job support to junior service engineers and technicians.
• Participate in service-related projects and emergency response activities.
