Job summary

PAMCORE STEEL CORP is seeking a safety officer to supervise and implement our safety program across project sites in the Philippines. The role focuses on inspections, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance to ensure a safe working environment.

You will lead toolbox talks, training sessions, and compile safety reports for management review. The candidate should be willing to undergo training, be able to start ASAP, and be assigned to any job location as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments at project sites.
• Monitor compliance with company and government safety regulations
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and training sessions
• Prepare and submit safety reports, incident investigations, and corrective action plans
• Recommend and implement preventive measures to minimize risks and hazards
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of safety documents, permits and certifications.
