Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an Inventory Assistant to support accurate monitoring, verification, documentation, and reporting of inventory across assigned stations. You will help ensure proper recording, timely variances identification, and adherence to control procedures to support efficiency and loss prevention.

The role requires a college graduate with at least 1 year in inventory-related functions, proficiency in Excel and Word, and the ability to travel to stations using a motorcycle.

Qualifications

• College graduate.
• At least 1 year in inventory management, audit, warehouse operations, field audit, operations, or related function.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures, stock reconciliation, and variance analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Honest, trustworthy, organized, and able to work independently.
• Willing to perform fieldwork and travel to assigned stations.
• Must have an active Driver's License and own motorcycle.

Responsibilities

• Execute the assigned monthly inventory monitoring and audit schedule within established timelines.
• Conduct regular station visits to verify inventory against system records and supporting documents.
• Perform petroleum inventory counts and verification to identify shortages, overages, and variances.
• Validate inventory movements, including deliveries, transfers, and other transactions.
• Monitor receiving, storage, handling, and recording of petroleum and non-petroleum products.
• Check inventory documentation and ensure transactions are properly recorded and supported by documents.
• Provide accurate updates on inventory activities, discrepancies, and findings.
• Identify and document variances, operational errors, and potential losses.
• Investigate significant discrepancies and coordinate with station personnel for clarification and documents.
• Prepare and submit complete, well-documented inventory reports on time.
• Ensure findings are supported by evidence and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Monitor implementation of corrective actions for discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality of inventory records and reports.
• Perform other inventory-related duties as assigned.
