Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a Field Inspector to monitor on-site roadworks and ensure compliance with project plans, quality standards and safety regulations. You will oversee earthworks, paving, drainage, and structural works while coordinating with contractors, engineers, and project managers.

Documentation of progress and corrective actions is essential. Applicants should have registered civil/road engineering credentials, 3–5 years of related experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Educational attainment and registrations required for civil/road-related work.
• Experience in project management, engineering design or construction recommended.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor daily road construction activities including excavation, grading, paving, drainage, and concrete/structural works.
• Verify construction aligns with project plans, specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure site safety and environmental regulatory compliance.
• Record progress, tests, and inspection findings with precise documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers on schedules and issues.
• Support final inspections and turnover of completed works.
