Job summary

Oriental Consultants Philippines, Inc. in the Philippines seeks an experienced QA/QC Engineer to ensure quality on major infrastructure projects.

You will regularly inspect civil works progress, coordinate with Contractors, and escalate quality issues to the Chief Quality Engineer and Senior Resident Engineer. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, with licensure preferred, and a minimum of 5 years of QA/QC experience on large infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field
• Licensed/registered engineer (preferred, depending on project requirements)
• At least 5 years of QA/QC experience in large infrastructure projects

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect progress of civil works performed by Contractors.
• Investigate, summarize, and report quality issues on civil works to Chief Quality Engineer and Senior Resident Engineer.
• Review and endorse Contractor's submissions for civil works including WIRs, Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans.
• Attend quality meetings with the Contractor to ensure all quality issues on civil works are properly documents, resolved, and closed out.
• Assist Chief Quality Engineer to resolve quality issues on civil works as required
