Job summary

COMMSEC INC. in the Bicol Region is seeking a Drive Test Engineer to perform field testing, collect data, and provide actionable insights to optimise our telecom infrastructure. You will evaluate network performance across 2G/3G/4G LTE and 5G environments, supporting service quality improvements.

Fresh graduates are welcome. Proficiency with Nemo, Tems and MapInfo, GPS/GIS, and strong English communication are required; willingness to travel to various sites is a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in drive test tools such as Nemo, Tems, and MapInfo.

Responsibilities

• Conduct drive tests and field measurements to assess network performance and coverage.
• Operate and maintain drive test equipment and software platforms.
• Collect, analyse, and document KPI data including signal quality and handover performance.
• Identify issues and areas needing optimisation across assigned areas.
• Prepare technical reports with findings and recommendations for network improvement.
• Collaborate with planning and optimisation teams for network enhancements.
• Perform post-implementation testing to validate changes.
• Ensure safety and company protocol compliance during field testing.
• Maintain precise records of testing locations and results.
