Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or related field.
• 5 years of sales experience, preferably in construction or building materials.
• Strong knowledge of the construction market and project life cycle.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and client offices.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and engineers.
• Regularly visit client sites, attend meetings, and provide product support and solutions.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the construction sector.
• Generate leads through field visits, referrals, and industry networks.
• Present and promote company products/services to prospective clients.
• Monitor ongoing construction projects and coordinate with clients during project life cycles.
• Follow up on quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and close deals effectively.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the company's construction-related products or services.
• Provide technical support, demonstrations, and product presentations when needed.
• Gather competitive and market intelligence.
• Submit sales reports, forecasts, and activity logs to management regularly.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Collaborate with sales team and management to align on sales strategies.
