Job summary

Toyota Balintawak Inc. is seeking a dedicated Field Collection Officer for our Credit team in Caloocan City, Metro Manila. The role focuses on managing customer interactions, recovering debts, and ensuring adherence to credit policies to protect revenue.

You will conduct field visits, negotiate payment arrangements, maintain records, and provide regular progress updates to management while upholding ethical standards and compliance with banking regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field visits to customer locations to collect outstanding receivables and negotiate payment arrangements
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities, payments received, and customer interactions using company systems and documentation
• Prepare detailed collection reports and provide regular updates to management on collection progress and outstanding balances
• Verify customer information and assess creditworthiness during collection calls and field visits
• Attempt to resolve payment disputes and address customer concerns professionally and tactfully
• Coordinate with customers to arrange convenient payment schedules and collection methods
• Ensure compliance with all applicable banking and credit regulations, company policies, and ethical standards during collection activities
• Escalate difficult cases or non-responsive customers to management for further action
• Maintain professional relationships with customers whilst pursuing debt recovery objectives
• Participate in training programmes to enhance collection techniques and product knowledge
