Job summary

The Medical Services of America (Philippines) Inc seeks a Biomedical Engineer to oversee preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and post-sales technical support for cardiopulmonary equipment across partner facilities. You will work with minimal supervision to ensure equipment uptime and reliable service delivery.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, on-site repairs, commissioning of new devices, and collaboration with supplier engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) or Electrical Engineering.
Registered/Licensed ECE or Electrical Engineer is required.
Open to fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude and hands-on mindset.
Foundational knowledge of cardiopulmonary equipment (e.g., Prunus, Synovent, Monnal T76/T65) is an advantage.
Must hold a valid driver's license and can drive 4-wheel vehicles.
Willingness to travel extensively across Luzon and Mindanao.

Responsibilities

Oversee preventive maintenance, diagnostic repair, and on-site servicing of cardiopulmonary and medical equipment.
Provide post-sales technical support and on-site troubleshooting for hospital staff.
Assist hospital partnerships' technical setup and decommissioning of equipment as needed.
Coordinate with supplier biomedical engineers for complex issues and escalations.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous departmental improvements.
