Job summary

CMKO Geotechnical Services is seeking a Field-based Business Development Officer to identify and develop new business opportunities through field visits, client meetings, and market research.

The role focuses on generating leads, building relationships with prospective clients, and promoting geotechnical engineering and laboratory testing services to achieve revenue and growth targets. Willingness to travel and conduct fieldwork is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in sales, marketing, business development, or client relations is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to conduct fieldwork and travel for client visits.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field visits to prospective clients and target markets.
• Identify and generate new business leads through networking and market research.
• Schedule and conduct client meetings and presentations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
• Coordinate with the technical team for proposal preparation and follow up on proposals.
• Promote services through direct client engagement and industry networking.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and bid documents.
• Provide regular reports on field activities and opportunities.
• Maintain an updated database of leads and client interactions.
