Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc is seeking a Fiber Optic Technician / Driver to support field deployments across Luzon, including Metro Manila. The role covers fiber line setup, cable installations, field site maintenance, and near-home deployment opportunities.

You will install, maintain and troubleshoot broadband and fiber networks, perform splicing, drive service vehicles, and ensure safety and accurate field reporting while coordinating with site teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years hands-on experience in fiber optics or related networks.
• Practical knowledge in fiber splicing and OTDR testing.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive MT/L300 vehicles.
• High school diploma or technical/vocational qualification.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot broadband and fiber networks.
• Carry out fiber splicing, cable testing, and signal verifications on field sites.
• Serve as on-site technical resource for line testing and cable issues.
• Drive service vehicles to client locations and repair sites (MT/L300).
• Maintain field reports, equipment logs, and follow site safety protocols.

Hi! We are looking for an experienced Fiber Optic Technician / Driver to support our team in fiber line setups, cable installations, and field site maintenance across Luzon coverage areas!

• WORK SETUP: Field-based / On-site

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of broadband and fiber optic networks




• Carry out fiber splicing, cable testing, and signal level verifications on field sites




• Act as a technical resource on-site for line testing and complex cable issues




• Drive service vehicles (Manual Transmission / L300) to client locations and repair sites




• Maintain accurate field reports, equipment logs, and adhere to site safety protocols

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 1+ years of hands-on experience in fiber optics, broadband, or cable network installation




• Practical knowledge in fiber splicing, OTDR testing, and network troubleshooting




• Valid Driver’s License with proven ability to drive Manual Transmission (MT / L300)




• High School graduate, Technical/Vocational graduate, or relevant trade certificate holder




• Flexible, safety-conscious, and willing to perform field work across Metro Manila, North Luzon, and South Luzon
