Job summary

Advanced Energy, a global leader in precision power solutions, seeks a Facilities Technician (Operations) to support the safe, reliable operation of facility utility systems. You will perform inspections, monitor equipment, and assist in emergency responses to maintain plant stability and performance.

The role requires 2–3 years in facilities or related fields, with the ability to read technical drawings and operate under shift schedules.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Technical/Vocational Course or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation or related field.
• 2–3 years of industrial experience in facilities operation or related technical environment.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, operating procedures, and technical drawings.
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule and support 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor facility utility systems and equipment to ensure continuous and efficient operations.
• Perform routine inspections, equipment rounds, and operational checks according to established procedures and schedules.
• Monitor and record equipment parameters, system readings, and operating conditions.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment abnormalities, alarms, and operational issues for timely corrective action.
• Execute daily operational checklists and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Support first-level troubleshooting and corrective actions during equipment malfunctions or system upsets.
• Assist in emergency response activities and implement contingency procedures during utility or facility-related incidents.
• Coordinate with Shift Engineers and maintenance personnel to address operational concerns and equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate operational logs, inspection records, and shift documentation.
• Adhere to company safety, health, environmental, and quality standards at all times.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing utility reliability, efficiency, and operational performance.
