Job summary

JB Packaging Corporation seeks a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to oversee maintenance planning, safety program implementation, and equipment optimization at a manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes adhering to safety standards, managing maintenance records, and coordinating with technicians to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with experience in manufacturing and familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Preferably with 2 years extensive experience in manufacturing environment / Registered Mechanical Engineer with PRC License.
• Microsoft Office, AutoCAD will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, planning and analysis of the as-built plans, reports, and maintenance work.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repair activities and compliance documentation, as well as expenses.
• Develop and implement safety standards for operations.
• Ensure that all facilities are equipped with necessary safety equipment and that staff is trained to use it.
• Perform daily inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
• Review and improve records of maintenance, service activities and operational efficiencies.
• Support maintenance team for mechanical infrastructure and machine installation and maintenance.
• Ensure scheduled maintenance activities are carried out safely and effectively.
• Monitor HVAC settings to optimize temperature and humidity for efficient production.
