Jones Lang LaSalle Property Consultants Pte Ltd in Metro Manila seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to lead operations, optimize building performance, and manage budgets for multiple facilities.
You will oversee maintenance, safety, and sustainability programs, while developing a skilled team and coordinating with vendors and clients to deliver high-quality facility services.
The Facilities Manager provides leadership and strategic oversight for all aspects of facility operations, ensuring buildings and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and functionality. This role is responsible for managing maintenance programs, leading facility teams, optimizing building performance, controlling operational costs, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to building occupants. The Facilities Manager serves as the primary point of accountability for facility operations, working closely with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive facility management solutions that support business objectives.
Key responsibilities
Direct all daily facility operations including maintenance, repairs, building systems operations, janitorial services, security, and grounds maintenance
Develop and implement operational strategies, establish performance standards, and ensure consistent service delivery across all facility functions
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of facility staff including technicians, coordinators, and support personnel
Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime
Manage relationships with external service providers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness
Develop and manage annual operating budgets, capital expenditure plans, and long-term financial forecasts for facility operations
Ensure optimal performance of all building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, building automation, and life safety systems
Plan, coordinate, and oversee facility improvement projects, renovations, and capital expenditure initiatives
Ensure facilities comply with all applicable regulations, codes, and standards including OSHA, EPA, ADA, fire safety codes, and local building regulations
Drive sustainability initiatives including energy conservation, waste reduction, water efficiency, and environmental management programs
About you
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field required
Preferably with 7-10 years of progressive experience in facilities management, building operations, or property management with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or management role
Experience managing commercial office buildings, corporate campuses, industrial facilities, or institutional environments required
Comprehensive knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, and building automation systems
Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as Maximo, ServiceNow, or similar platforms
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel for financial analysis and reporting
Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Professional (FMP), or similar professional certification strongly preferred
OSHA 30-hour certification required or must obtain within first year
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels
Ability to conduct regular facility inspections requiring walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and accessing all areas of facilities including rooftops, mechanical rooms, and confined spaces
