Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is urgently seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Department Engineer to oversee the maintenance of plant machinery and building facilities in San Juan City. This role focuses on evaluating repair costs, leading improvement projects, and ensuring compliance with safety and electrical standards.

The successful candidate will manage preventive maintenance, inspect electrical systems, and coordinate with teams to minimize downtime and optimize facilities operations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical Engineer required.
• 2-3 years experience in manufacturing plant and building electrician.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate equipment and facility costs for repairs and maintenance.
• Provide work direction and lead facility improvement projects with priority setting and task delegation.
• Maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, pumps, generators, tanks and packaging equipment.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns and improve efficiency while meeting safety standards.
• Perform routine inspections to identify electrical hazards and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
• Review preventive maintenance contracts and bid proposals.
• Recommend facility improvement projects to the supervisor.
