Job summary

JLL Batangas on-site is seeking a Facilities Engineer specialized in hard services to oversee day-to-day site operations, perform inspections, and ensure best-practice maintenance.

You will coordinate with vendors, support the facilities manager, manage risk, safety procedures, and strive to meet KPIs and SLAs while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Facilities Hard Services, Operations and Maintenance of Critical Facilities Equipment (HVAC, Mechanical and Electrical equipment).
• Knowledge of local health and safety protocols and workplace environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine site inspections to ensure building processes and best practices are implemented and maintained.
• Support the facilities manager to oversee technical operation and maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs.
• Liaise with vendors/contractors; supervise repair and maintenance by in-house team and external contractors.
• Implement and manage risk management programs, disaster recovery and business continuity plans; ensure incident reporting.

Facilities Engineer Hard Services

What this job involves:

Providing Onsite support You will be the upper facilities management’s trusted right hand on all facilities-related activities. You’ll do this by performing routine site inspections to ensure all building processes and best practices are implemented and maintained. Support the facilities manager to oversee technical operation, plan and implement maintenance work schedule to minimize breakdown of failure. You’ll be the main contact person for all technical service contractor and supervise repair and maintenance works of in-house technical team and contractors. You will also include the MSTs skill enhancement plan for the repair/maintenance of all critical equipment and the accuracy of inspection/judgment for all facilities related items needs to be repaired/restored. Work with different department to fulfill customer procurement and statutory requirements. Where can processes be improved? How can we save costs? These are questions that will be at the forefront of the team’s thinking. You, too, will always have an eye on this, contributing suggestions as they arise. You’ll also lend the team a big hand by providing technical support including vendor management, basic housekeeping and appointment coordination. Also, part of your job scope is to hit key performance indicators and meet service level agreements.

• Do you have a prior work or internship experience in Facilities Hard Services, Operations and Maintenance of Critical Facilities Equipment (HVAC, Mechanical and Electrical equipment), People and Vendor Management, and Facilities Project Management or other related fields?
• Are you knowledgeable in the local health and safety protocols and how they are enacted within our workplace environment?
• Are you flexible, proactive and organized?
