Job summary

STMicroelectronics Philippines is seeking an experienced Electrical/Facilities leader to revamp the talent onboarding for projects and oversee end-to-end electrical system upgrades. You will coordinate with vendors for recruitment and manage a–z collaboration to ensure project success.

Responsibilities include evaluating electrical project designs, regulatory submissions (PEZA/DOLE/DOE/ERC), audits, and maintaining ISO50001, while aligning with local and international standards.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in Facilities O&M, PM, Design, Construction/EHS and regulatory compliance in a semiconductor or related environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to perform manual or ETAP software-assisted electrical system analysis.
• Electrical Engineer license (PEE) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/review design, scope of work, and assist in technical evaluation of electrical projects for facilities and production expansion or issue resolution.
• Prepare and submit documents for regulatory agencies or customers (PEZA, DOLE, DOE, ERC, etc.).
• Attend regulator or customer visits/audits of electrical systems (PEZA, DOLE, DOE, ERC, clients).
• Manage major or critical electrical projects from conceptualization to implementation.
• Oversee Energy Management System and ensure ISO 50001 certification.
• Assist in 8D problem-solving for electrical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Regularly review electrical system alignment with local/international standards; drive improvements.
• Be the go-to person for all Electrical system aspects; site POC with Facilities collaboration.
• Own Electrical System Improvement Roadmap Management.

YOUR ROLE

You take part in creating the best new hire experience in the project to completely renew our talent acquisition and onboarding process. You also help us with finding the best vendors for recruitment, and managing the a to z collaboration with them.

• Prepare / review design, scope of work, and assist technical evaluation of electrical related projects for facilities & production expansion or issues solutions/actions as identified.
• Prepare and submission of required documents/reports for regulatory agencies or customers such as PEZA, DOLE, DOE, ERC, & Product Customers.
• Attend regulatory agencies or customer visit or audit of electrical system such as PEZA, DOLE, DOE, ERC, clients, and others.
• Manage major or critical electrical projects from conceptualization to implementation.
• Manage Energy Management System of the plant and ensure certification of ISO50001.
• Assist 8D preparation for electrical related issues or incidents and design, prepare, and implement needed corrective actions.
• Regular review of the electrical system to ensure alignment or conformity to local or international standards / LOP/SOP/POR. Manage needed improvement to align or conform if needed.
• Go to person for all Electrical system aspect.
• Site Point of contact "POC" with respect to Facilities central collaboration.
• Owner of Electrical System Improvement Roadmap Management

Your Skills & Experiences

• License Electrical Engr. A PEE license is an advantage.
• Must be able to conduct manual or etap software assisted electrical system analysis.
• Certified Energy Manager / Certified Energy Auditor/Certified Project management Professional is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in MS project management tool.
• Knowledgeable in Quality Management tools like 8D/FMEA/DMAIC/5S and others.
• Knowledgeable with regulatory requirements such as DOLE/PEZA/DOE/ERC/BFO/Fire Code and the likes.
• Must have exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
• With good analytical skill.
• At least 10 years work experience in Facilities O&M, Project Management, Design , Construction/EHS and regulatory compliance in a semiconductor or related environment.
• Above average knowledge in contract management and negotiations.
• Above average knowledge in budget/cost (financial management)
• Knowledgeable in Power system analysis ( load flow/fault calculation/arch flash/Preventive maintenance/Control system/hazardous location/ATEX and the likes.
• Knowledgeable in a semiconductor key facilities system operation and maintenance like HVAC system. Compressed Air System, UPS and the like.
