Job summary

JLL Philippines is hiring a Facilities Assistant - Back of House in Taguig. You will support building operations, handle service requests, and coordinate with engineers and vendors to keep spaces like mechanical rooms, corridors, and loading docks safe and efficient.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years experience in facilities maintenance or building operations.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read work orders, safety docs and simple schematics.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to work in varied settings including mechanical rooms and outdoor areas.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transport for travel between locations.
• Flexibility for after-hours, weekends or emergencies when required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of back-of-house areas to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Respond to work orders and coordinate with engineers and staff for timely fixes.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, inventory management, and organized storage.
• Support preventive maintenance by preparing areas and tools, and documenting tasks.
• Monitor building systems and meters, report anomalies to senior staff.
• Coordinate with vendors during service visits and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain maintenance logs and equipment histories using CMMS.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental procedures are followed.
• Participate in emergency response and after-hours on-call rotation as needed.
