Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp. in Cabuyao, Philippines, is seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to operate, inspect, and repair essential facility systems and equipment.

You will ensure safe, efficient plant operations in a manufacturing environment focused on photonic technologies. The role requires a 2-year vocational degree in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in facilities operations, including HVAC, electrical systems, and building

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a 2-year vocational course related to Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
• Preferably with TESDA NC Accreditation.
• At least 5 years’ hands-on solid experience in Facilities operations and maintenance of industrial/manufacturing facility.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in operations, maintenance and improvement of HVAC, CDA, FDAS, Fire Pro, RODI, wastewater, UPS, Genset, Plumbing, Building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspection, monitoring, and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical facilities and equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of facility and production equipment.
• Operate and maintain utility systems, including generator sets, air conditioning units, chillers, deionized water systems, wastewater treatment systems, electrical distribution systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Carry out installation, modification, and repair works related to facilities, equipment, and building infrastructure.
• Coordinate with contractors and support project planning, development, and implementation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and accomplishment reports.
• Support safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Facilities Technician
