Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Philippines, Inc. seeks a Facilities Technician to operate, maintain, inspect, and repair facility systems and equipment, ensuring safe, efficient plant operations at our Manila site.

The role covers HVAC, water systems, electrical distribution, and building infrastructure, with collaboration across teams. Requirements include a 2-year vocational program in Electrical/Mechanical, TESDA NC preferred, and 5 years’ hands-on experience in industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2-year vocational course related to Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
• Preferably with TESDA NC Accreditation.
• At least 5 years’ hands-on experience in facilities operations and maintenance of industrial/manufacturing facility.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC, CDA, FDAS, Fire Pro, RODI, wastewater, UPS, Genset, plumbing, and building maintenance.
• Responsible, collaborative, customer focused and able to work with teammates.
• Willing to work overtime, during holidays and long hours.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspection, monitoring, and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical facilities and equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of facility and production equipment.
• Operate and maintain utility systems including generators, HVAC, chillers, deionized water, wastewater, electrical distribution, and fire alarm systems.
• Carry out installation, modification, and repairs related to facilities and building infrastructure.
• Coordinate with contractors and support project planning, development, and implementation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and accomplishment reports.
• Support safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Our facility in Manila, Philippines has been operating since 1996 with key functions inDesign and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and other disciplines. This site specializes in product design, process development and mass production of Photodiodes, Photodiode Arrays and High-Performance Sensors. These product technologies are primarily for LiDAR applications such as autonomous vehicles and range finding, as well as safety and security applications including smoke detection and luggage scanning.

We are presently seeking forFacilities Technician,who shall be responsible for the operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of facility systems and equipment, including mechanical and electrical utilities, to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspection, monitoring, and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical facilities and equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of facility and production equipment.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and accomplishment reports.

Requirements:
