Job summary

MMI in Metro Manila seeks a Civil/Mechanical Engineer to design and support aluminum/uPVC windows and façade systems. You will review drawings, prepare shop drawings, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure correct profiles, hardware, and accessories for cost-efficient production.

You will perform site measurements, provide installation plans, and supervise on-site execution, solving issues like alignment and water leakage while ensuring compliance with project specs.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Mechanical Engineering; PRC license is an advantage but not required.
• “At least 2–3 years of experience in aluminum/uPVC windows, doors, or façade systems.”
• Strong knowledge of profiles, hardware, glass, and installation methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required, 3D is an advantage).
• Skilled in preparing cutting lists, BOQs, and shop drawings.
• Experience in site measurement, supervision, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills (with suppliers, fabricators, and contractors).
• Amenable to work in Malinta, Valenzuela City.

Responsibilities

• Design and provide technical support for windows and façade systems.
• Review drawings and prepare shop drawings.
• Provide technical solutions ensuring strength, watertightness, and functionality.
• Prepare cutting lists, material take-offs, and fabrication plans.
• Coordinate with suppliers and fabricators for profiles, hardware, and accessories.
• Optimize materials to minimize wastage and reduce costs.
• Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions before production.
• Provide installation plans and supervise site execution.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues like alignment, water leakage, and hardware fitment.
• Coordinate with contractors and site supervisors to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Prepare reports and technical records for projects.
• Support continuous improvement in design and installation methods.
