Job summary

Fabtech Export Industries, Inc. in Laguna, Philippines seeks a hands-on steel fabrication assistant to help fabricate stainless steel equipment and operate fabrication machines such as benders, laser cutters, and saws.

You will use grinders and measuring tape to meet shop drawings accurately. The ideal candidate is experienced in steel fabrication, proficient with the listed machines and tools, computer-literate, eager to learn, and a strong team player.

Qualifications

• Must have experience related to steel fabrication.
• Must be experienced in operating steel fabrication machines (benders, laser machines, cutting machines) and using grinders and measuring tape.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team in fabricating stainless steel equipment.
• Fabricate, bend, shear, and deburr stainless materials.
• Operate machines to match shop drawings.
• Monitor and maintain proper usage of tools and machineries.
• Conduct daily checkups on the machineries.
• Assist the team on tasks by senior staff or management.

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Assists the team in fabricating stainless steel equipment

• Fabricates, bends, shears, and deburrs stainless materials

• Operates machines to achieve the requirement as per shop drawings

• Monitors and maintains proper usage of tools and machineries

• Conducts daily check up on the machineries

• Assists the team on any tasks assigned by senior team member / management

About you

• Must have experience related to steel fabrication

• Must have experience in handling steel fabrication machines such as benders, laser machines, cutting machines and tools such as grinders and measuring tape

• Must be computer literate
