The Fabrication Manager leads all fabrication operations within a construction-focused environment, ensuring efficient production of structural components while meeting quality, safety, and timeline requirements. This role manages personnel, materials, and equipment in the fabrication to align with engineering plans and project demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations in the fabrication, ensuring timely and cost-effective production.
- Interpret construction drawings and coordinate with engineering, design, and project teams.
- Lead and supervise fabrication staff; provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with occupational and company safety standards.
- Implement quality control procedures and resolve any fabrication or material issues.
- Manage inventory, raw materials, and maintenance of equipment.
- Drive process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
- Communicate regularly with site teams, procurement, and upper management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in fabrication management within the construction industry.
- Preferably with demonstrated hands‑on experience in both hot works (welding, cutting, machining) and woodworks and carpentry.
- Effective leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficient in project scheduling and familiar with safety and quality standards.
- Must be willing to be assigned in Quezon City.
