Job summary

MicroSourcing in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines is seeking a skilled Fabrication Draftsperson and Planner to join our hybrid, day-shift team. You will translate design briefs into accurate drawings, prepare 3D models, and generate shop drawings for production.

The role emphasizes collaboration with operations, BOM creation, ERP routings, and maintaining drawing registers while ensuring compliance with standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Inventor, and Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Competent in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Inventor, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate technical drawings, plans, and 3D models using CAD, Inventor, SolidWorks or BIM software.
• Prepare shop drawings and spool books for production personnel.
• Interpret design briefs and engineering specifications into detailed drawings.
• Issue pipe take‑offs to production planner.
• Ensure drawings comply with standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with operations.
• Update and revise drawings based on feedback, site changes, or client requirements.
• Maintain organized drawing registers and documentation for projects.
• Maintain fabrication schedule, odd‑length cut lists and glass cutting lists.
• Identify potential design or construction issues early and flag them for review.
• Liaise with engineering team to incorporate product specifications into designs.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing.
• Develop bills of materials (BOM) for ERP and cost breakdowns.
• Develop routings for ERP.
• Track and update cost databases.
