Job summary

Renesas Electronics seeks a Night Shift Fab Technician for Palm Bay Operations. You will perform machine set-up and operation, log data, handle materials, and inspect components in a clean room environment.

Shifts are 12 hours, 7pm–7am, with no weekends. The schedule alternates weeks: 3 days one week and 4 days the next. Training will prepare you to work independently while meeting quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer aptitude with ability to log transactions.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience working with work teams.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Renesas Palm Bay Operations team is looking for a Night Shift Fab Technician. In this position the successful candidate will perform a variety of manufacturing duties, i.e. machine set-up and operation, data logging, material handling, inspection, etc.

Candidate will be required to work in a clean room environment, including wearing clean room garments. Candidates with previous manufacturing experience that required multi-tasking is a plus. Must be comfortable interacting with computer systems and high-tech equipment. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret written instructions.

This opportunity is on a compressed work week schedule which are 12- hour shifts andNO WEEKENDS. The hours are 7pm - 7am, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, every other Thursday.You work 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the following week. OFF EVERY Fri, Sat, Sun and every other Thur.

Majority of work time requires standing. Once trained will be required to work independently and meet quality and productivity expectations.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic Computer aptitude with ability to log transactions using keyboard and mouse
• Basic math skills
• Experience working with work teams

Due to the nature of this position and the required access to areas where ITAR-controlled articles and/or technical data may be present, candidates must meet the applicable U.S. person requirements for ITAR access. This includes individuals who are:

• A U.S. citizen or U.S. national;
• A lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder); or
• A protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).

Additional Information

This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL.

Hours are on a compressed work week, 3 days- 7am to 7pm one week, and 4 days the next week. Both day and night shifts are available.
