Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Thin Film Maintenance Technician for its Palm Bay, Florida facility. The role focuses on preventative and corrective maintenance of key tool sets used in the Thin Film area, including AMAT Endura, P5000 DCVD, Novellus Concept 1, Varian 3180/3290, and WJ999R.

Required is an AS/BS in engineering or 5+ years in semiconductor maintenance with strong mechanical and electronic skills, plus excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• AS or BS in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering, military training, or 10+ years relevant work experience.
• 5+ years supporting AMAT Endura, AMAT P5000, Novellus Concept 1, Varian 3180/3290, WJ999R.
• A semiconductor-manufacturing environment with at least 5 years in Equipment Maintenance is required.
• Strong mechanical and electronic skills; excellent oral and written communication; problem solving ability.
• Knowledge of SPC and how it is used in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of tool sets in Thin Film area (AMAT Endura, P5000, Novellus Concept 1, Varian 3180/3290, WJ999R).
• Maintain equipment to minimize downtime and ensure process reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced technician to fill the role of Thin Film Maintenance Technician supporting its manufacturing facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. This position offers development opportunities working for a leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog semiconductors.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

This position involves the preventative and corrective maintenance of the tool sets found in the Thin Film area. Tool sets include Novellus Concept 1, AMAT P5000 DCVD, AMAT 5500 Endura, AMAT 5200 RTP, AMAT 5200 WxZ, WJ999R, and Varian 3180/3290.

• AS or BS in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering, military training, or 10+ years relevant work experience.

Experience Requirements / Skills

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with a minimum of 10 years experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field.

• Must have knowledge of SPC and know how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 40lbs.

This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL.

This is a NIGHT shift position, and hours are on a compressed work week, 3 days- 7pm to 7am one week, and 4 days the next week.
