Job summary

Renesas Electronics seeks an experienced semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician to support our Palm Bay facility. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on critical Etch area tool sets, ensuring high uptime in a Class 1 cleanroom.

The role requires 5+ years in semiconductor maintenance, hands-on expertise with AMAT and Gasonics gear, and strong mechanical/electronic skills, complemented by excellent communication abilities. Onsite, day and night shifts available.

Qualifications

• AS or AA in electrical, mechanical, military training, or 5+ years relevant work experience.
• 5+ years supporting AMAT Centura 5200 MxP, AMAT 8330/8110, AMAT P5000 MxP, Gasonics Aura 1000, Gasonics Iridia, STS HRM Bosch Trench Etcher.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field.
• Strong mechanical skills and strong electronic skills.
• Excellent Oral communication skills and Excellent Written Communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving ability.
• Must have knowledge of SPC and its application in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain preventative and corrective maintenance of tool sets in the Etch area, including additional tool sets such as Axcelis Fusion, Semitool SST, Semitool SRD, and manual wet benches.
• Operate and troubleshoot electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment in a Class 1 cleanroom.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to minimize downtime and optimize reliability.

Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. This position offers development opportunities working for a leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog semiconductors.This position involves the preventative and corrective maintenance of electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment in a Class 1 cleanroom.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• AS or AA in electrical, mechanical, military training, or 5+ years relevant work experience.

Experience Requirements / Skills:

• 5+ years supporting AMAT Centura 5200 MxP, AMAT 8330/8110, AMAT P5000 MxP, Gasonics Aura 1000, Gasonics Iridia, STS HRM Bosch Trench Etcher.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field.

Essential Job Responsibilities

This position involves the preventative and corrective maintenance of the tool sets found in the Etch area. Additional tool sets include Axcelis Fusion, Semitool SST, Semitool SRD, and manual wet benches.

Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Renesas is unable to sponsor applicants for work visas for this position now or in the future.

Hours are on a compressed work week, 3 days on 7am to 7pm one week, and 4 days the next week. Both day and night shifts available.

Due to the nature of this position and the required access to areas where ITAR-controlled articles and/or technical data may be present, candidates must meet the applicable U.S. person requirements for ITAR access. This includes individuals who are:

• A U.S. citizen or U.S. national;
• A lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder); or
• A protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).

This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL.
