Job summary

Fredley Group of Companies in Quezon City, Philippines seeks a General Accounting Officer to manage financial records, reporting, and cost control for its food and beverage operations.

Responsibilities include AP/AR, inventory valuation, revenue audit, budgeting, and compliance with accounting standards. Requires 2–5 years in accounting, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks. Hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or F&B.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and POS integration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Understanding of cost accounting and inventory control principles.
• Experience in corporate finance or audit environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update general ledgers and sub-ledgers for all operations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and inter-company transactions.
• Process accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely payments.
• Monitor food and beverage costs, wastage, and variance reports for cost control.
• Audit daily sales summaries and reconcile with POS reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting, with variance analysis.
• Support internal controls and assist audits; suggest system improvements.
