Role Description

The Extrusion Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cavite. This role is responsible for overseeing daily extrusion production activities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring extrusion lines to meet output, quality, and safety targets. The Extrusion Operations Manager leads and develops the extrusion team, ensuring proper training, adherence to standard operating procedures, and effective shift coordination. The role includes optimizing machine settings, managing material usage, troubleshooting process and equipment issues, and collaborating with maintenance and quality teams to reduce downtime and defects. The Extrusion Operations Manager also analyzes production data, implements process improvements, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong background in extrusion operations, including setup, monitoring, and optimization of extrusion lines in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in production planning, workflow management, and meeting daily, weekly, and monthly output and quality targets.
• Proven leadership skills in supervising and developing production teams, including performance management and skills training.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and process parameters, and work closely with quality and maintenance teams to resolve operational issues.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing safety standards, 5S, and continuous improvement or lean methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using production data and metrics to drive process improvements.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating across production, engineering, quality, and management stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field; relevant experience in extrusion or plastics processing may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Previous experience in semiconductor or electronics packaging manufacturing is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Cavite and manage shifting schedules as required by production demands.
