Emapta is seeking an External Audit Assistant Manager to oversee Australian engagements from planning through reporting, review financial statements, resolve technical matters, and develop audit professionals. The role offers hybrid work from Ortigas with international exposure and long-term career stability.

Qualifications

• Business or Commerce degree with a major in Accounting.
• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• At least 4 years of external audit experience, ideally at Senior Auditor/Assistant Audit Manager level.
• Proven end-to-end external audit experience, including planning, fieldwork, review, completion and reporting.
• Strong experience managing and supervising audit team members with coaching and performance support.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address technical accounting and audit issues.
• Review financial statements for compliance with Accounting Standards and prepare reports and management opinions.
• Review audit work and summarize key engagement areas for the partner.
• Conduct simultaneous audit engagements with multiple team members.
• Manage and coordinate audit teams, ensuring effective training and compliance with audit methodologies.
• Monitor staffing requirements and resource planning.
• Assist partners and managers with business development and marketing initiatives.
