The role emphasizes training new staff, reviewing SOPs, driving efficiency through audits, and managing projects that improve lab performance while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in chemical analysis and QA/QMS.
• Experience with external and internal audits.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily Sample Planning and Execution in Instrument section.
• Market Compliant Investigation.
• Review of RM, FG, PM, Stability ADS, MOA and Protocol.
• Analytical Method Validation & Verification.
• Instrument Qualification.
• Procurement of standards and reagents; prepare working standards.
• Calibrate QC instruments; maintain history cards.
• Train officers on SOPs and test methods.
• Prepare Maintenance Schedule Tracker.
• Prepare Calibration Tracker.
• Tracking Maintenance activity.
• Audit involvement and NC compliance.
• Monitor pharmacopeial changes.
• Responsible for Wet, Instrument, and Purified Water analysis.

Position Summary

The role of selected candidate is geared toward assisting the Manager, reporting and overseeing departmental activities. The Assistant Manager plays an important leadership role in the department by structuring and coordinating staff testing activities, playing a role in the training of new staff members, participating in the review and approval process of SOPs and protocols, and by managing special projects requested by customer or initiated to improve the overall efficiency of the laboratories. Ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment. Develops personal growth opportunities

Responsibilities will include:

• Daily Sample Planning and Execution of Instrument section.
• Market Compliant Investigation.
• Review of RM,FG,PM, Stability study ADS, MOA and Protocol.
• Analytical Method Validation & Analytical method verification.
• Instrumental Qualification.
• Procurement of Primary standards, Reference Standards and prepare working standards, Procurement of columns.
• To check timely Calibration of QC instruments, General Maintenance, AMC and update related history card.
• Fill up and Review of sampling Checklist
• Extract Samples pending list from SAP.
• To train new officers on SOPs and test methods.
• Preparation of Maintenance Schedule Tracker.
• Preparation of Calibration tracker.
• Tracking Maintenance activity.
• Involvement in Audit and NC compliance with their record.
• Awareness and get intervention through reliable sources for any changes / revision in Pharmacopeial related docs / MOA
• Responsible for Wet analysis, Instrument analysis & Purified Water analysis.

Required Experience & Knowledge

Education:B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry

Experience:6 to 10 years
