Job summary

Makati Shangri-La, Manila, is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead and elevate our housekeeping and laundry operations within a luxury hotel environment.

You will coach and manage the housekeeping and laundry teams, ensuring adherence to brand standards, quality, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of hotel housekeeping and laundry operations.
• Previous experience in a leadership role within a luxury hotel environment.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest service and timely linen delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day Housekeeping and Laundry Operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Lead, coach, and support the Housekeeping and Laundry teams while maintaining the highest service standards.
• Ensure compliance with hotel housekeeping and laundry policies, procedures, quality standards, and brand guidelines.
• Prepare and manage staff schedules based on occupancy levels, events, and operational requirements.
• Monitor guest feedback across various platforms and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain housekeeping and laundry standards, continuously improving operational processes, productivity, and quality.
• Oversee linen and uniform inventory, laundry quality, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and cost control.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest service and timely delivery of linen and laundry requirements.

About You

• Strong understanding of hotel housekeeping and laundry operations.
• Previous experience in a similar Housekeeping leadership role, ideally within a luxury hotel environment.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and service excellence.
• Knowledge of laundry operations, linen management, garment care, and quality control is an advantage.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Committed to continuous learning and staff development.
• Able to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Capable of working independently and performing effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
