Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 12 years of experience in generator/motor excitation systems.

• Ability to design standard electrical schematics.

• Able to work extended hours and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Designing of Electrical Circuit Drawing, database, control logics and graphics for excitation system.
• Designing of Mechanical Layout for excitation system, protection system and synchronizing system.
• Supervision of assembly for excitation system.
• FAT, SAT and Start-up for excitation system; supervision of installation work at site.
• Preparation of excitation server/workstation.
• Preparation of field terminal detail and cable schedule.
• Verification, calibration and functional testing of I/O interfaces to field devices.
• On-site testing for the dynamic performance of excitation control system.
• Coordinate with other departments for all project related requirements.
• Compliance with internal and customer safety and security requirements.
• Oversee team mobilization and safety compliance.
• Fostering smooth collaboration and communication with project stakeholders (internal project teams, customer project teams and onsite contractors).
• Support project manager for material ordering and vendor management.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering Graduate.
• Minimum 5 to 12 years of experience in generator/motor excitation systems.
• Protection and synchronizing system knowledge shall be advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiar with configuration of switch and router.
• Advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving, decision-making, and planning skills.
• Proficiency with DCS/PLC control logic symbols, electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Proficiency with configuring database, designing control logic and HMIs of one or more DCS platforms shall be advantageous but not mandatory.
• Working knowledge in Basler brand is an advantage.
• Ability to design standard electrical schematics like AutoCAD/EPLAN/SEE.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and commissioning documents.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients and customers.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and independent.
• Able to work on extended hours.
