Job summary

Enertech Systems Industries, Inc. is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with 2–5 years of relevant experience to design and size structural components for industrial projects. You will develop drawings, calculations, and specifications while ensuring compliance with NSCP and NBC.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and teamwork to coordinate with multi-discipline teams, review vendor documents, and support site installations and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Civil Engineer required.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in structural design, preferably in industrial plants, boiler systems, steel fabrication, EPC, or heavy engineering projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, and Microsoft Office.
• Thorough knowledge of NSCP, the National Building Code, and related standards.
• Experience in structural steel design, reinforced concrete design, and foundation engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical docs for assigned projects.

Job description

• Prepare electrical engineering designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for assigned projects.
• Design motor control centers (MCC), lighting systems, grounding systems, lightning protection, cable routing, and other electrical installations.
• Develop single-line diagrams, electrical layouts, cable schedules, panel schedules, and equipment installation drawings.
• Perform electrical load calculations, voltage drop analysis, short-circuit studies, and equipment sizing.
• Review project specifications, client requirements, and applicable electrical codes to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Process, Instrumentation, and Project Engineers to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
• Prepare bills of materials, technical specifications, and material quantity take-offs for procurement and estimation.
• Review vendor drawings, technical submittals, and electrical equipment specifications for compliance with project requirements.
• Provide technical support during project execution, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct site inspections and field verification when required to resolve design issues and ensure proper installation.
• Ensure engineering deliverables are completed accurately, on schedule, and in accordance with company quality management procedures.
• Recommend design improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, reliability, and maintainability of electrical systems.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer.

Experience

• With 2-5 years of relevant experience in structural design, preferably in industrial plants, boiler systems, steel fabrication, EPC, or heavy engineering projects.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, and Microsoft Office.
• Thorough knowledge of the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP), the National Building Code, and other applicable engineering standards.
