ING Manila is seeking an Events and Issues Management Officer to administer the end-to-end lifecycle of issues and events, working with owners and monitoring entities across ING's global network. You will ensure data quality, timely remediation, and governance across risk management processes.

Events and Issues Management Officer Make an impact on global risk management At ING, we believe people should spend less time worrying about banking and more time doing what matters most to them. As a Control Hub Events & Issues Management Officer, you will play a key role in supporting ING's risk management framework by ensuring issues and events are accurately registered, monitored, and closed in line with global policies. You will collaborate with stakeholders across different countries and functions, helping the bank maintain strong governance and regulatory compliance while driving meaningful improvements.

Role Summary

As part of the Control Hub Manila Events & Issues Management (EIM) team, you will administer the end-to-end lifecycle of issues and events, from assessment and registration through monitoring and closure. You will work closely with issue owners, event owners, monitoring entities, and subject matter experts across ING's global network to ensure data quality, timely remediation, and effective risk management practices.

About the Team

You will join the Events & Issues Management team within Control Hub Manila, a team responsible for supporting ING's global risk management processes. The team serves as a trusted partner to stakeholders worldwide, helping maintain accurate records, monitor remediation activities, and ensure adherence to global issue and event management standards. You will report to a Service Delivery Lead and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders from different countries and business units.

What You'll Be Doing

Issue Management

• Assess and validate reported issues against registration criteria.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience performing issue or event management registration, monitoring, and closure.
• Strong understanding of risk and control concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting commitments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice to Have

• Experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, compliance, and governance functions.
• Experience with project management or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of Power BI or Power Automate.
• CIA or CPA certification.
• Lean or White Belt experience.
