Job summary

The Sanctuary Café and Bar is hiring Kitchen Staff in Quezon City, Philippines, managed by YC Yummy Ventures Corporation. You will join a vibrant, fast-paced kitchen environment with late-afternoon to midnight shifts, weekend availability, and ongoing interaction with a diverse crowd.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, cooking to recipe standards, maintaining cleanliness and safety, handling equipment, and assisting with inventory and ordering as needed.

Qualifications

• A degree or short course related to Food and Beverage, or an NC II Cookery Certification, is required.
• Prior experience in a kitchen or F&B environment is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper kitchen practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask during peak hours.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and late-night shifts.
• Willing at Maginhawa, Diliman, Quezon City.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook dishes in accordance with company recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is consistently prepared with the correct taste, quality, and presentation.
• Follow strict food safety and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination and risks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and health-compliant kitchen at all times.
• Operate and care for kitchen equipment such as ovens, stovetops, and grills.
• Assist with inventory management and supply ordering when needed.
• Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Perform additional tasks to support smooth kitchen operations.
