Job summary

WTS ConsTech Corp., a Cebu-based engineering firm, is hiring an EV Charging Technician / Electronics Engineer to install, test, and maintain AC/DC EV charging stations. The role involves BAS integration, EMS support, and fieldwork across project sites in the Philippines.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields, basic knowledge of electrical systems, and strong troubleshooting skills. Willingness to travel and ensure safety standards are met is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or construction is an advantage.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, load calculations, and panel design.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical plans.
• Willingness to conduct fieldwork and travel to project sites as needed.
• Strong troubleshooting and attention to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, test, commission, and maintain AC/DC electric vehicle charging stations.
• Integrate EV chargers with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Conduct electrical load assessments, system diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Assist in configuring and maintaining Energy Management Systems (EMS).
• Troubleshoot electrical, communication, and network-related issues.
• Ensure installations comply with electrical safety standards and applicable regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and support field installation activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or construction projects is an advantage.

• Knowledge of Building Automation System protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
• Basic understanding of Energy Management Systems and network connectivity.
