Job summary

WTS ConsTech Corp. in Cebu City is seeking an EV Charging Technician / Electronics Engineer to install, test, and maintain AC/DC charging stations, and to integrate them with BAS and EMS.

The role requires fieldwork, talent in reading electrical diagrams, and travel to project sites, with a focus on safety and quality in EV charging installations across the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or construction projects is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed and read electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and maintain AC/DC electric vehicle charging stations.
• Integrate EV chargers with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Conduct electrical load assessments, system diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Assist in configuring and maintaining Energy Management Systems (EMS).
• Troubleshoot electrical, communication, and network-related issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Hiring: EV CHARGING TECHNICIAN / ELECTRONICS ENGINEER

For EV Charging Installation & Operations

• Install, test, commission, and maintain AC/DC electric vehicle charging stations.
• Integrate EV chargers with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Conduct electrical load assessments, system diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Assist in configuring and maintaining Energy Management Systems (EMS).
• Troubleshoot electrical, communication, and network-related issues.
• Ensure installations comply with electrical safety standards and applicable regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and support field installation activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or construction projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, load calculations, and panel design.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical plans.
• Willingness to conduct fieldwork and travel to project sites as needed.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed Electrical Engineer, Registered Electrical Engineer, or Licensed Electrician.
• TESDA NC II certification in a relevant electrical qualification.
• Familiarity with EV charging systems (training may be provided).
• Knowledge of Building Automation System protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
• Basic understanding of Energy Management Systems and network connectivity.
