Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an Estimator to work remotely from the Philippines. You will review tender documents, perform detailed quantity take-offs, and prepare pricing packages for bids. Proficiency in blueprint reading, PlanSwift, Excel, and strong communication are essential.

You will collaborate with suppliers, assemble bid packages, and contribute to winning tenders while enjoying flexible work arrangements and a collaborative team culture supportive of growth and learning.

Qualifications

• Experience performing take-offs and reading drawings.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and material quantity take-offs.
• Strong written and spoken communication.
• Proficient in MS Office and PlanSwift.

Your Role

• Review tender documents, including drawings, specifications, addendums, RFIs, SIs, etc.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs.
• Apply details to take-offs to determine material requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers to collect quotes on materials for pricing.
• Prepare project material and labour pricing.
• Prepare bid packages with tender pricing for clients according to specifications.

What You Need

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and performing take-offs.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows 11.
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills and concepts quickly.
• Experience with PlanSwift.
• Team player.
