Job summary

Philtech Inc. is seeking an experienced Oracle Essbase specialist to design, develop, and maintain cubes and applications across finance and planning domains.

You will provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity across environments. In this role, you will build calculation scripts, load rules, and MDX queries, manually load data from sources, and collaborate with business analysts and finance teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Essbase
• Strong understanding of multidimensional database concepts and OLAP technologies
• Proficiency in writing calculation scripts, load rules, and MDX queries
• Experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning or other EPM tools is a plus
• Knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify Oracle Essbase cubes and applications.
• Provide day-to-day support for Essbase environments, including troubleshooting.
• Build and optimize calculation scripts, load rules, and MDX queries.
• Manually load data from sources such as GCP-UDP.
• Collaborate with finance teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Integrate Essbase with Oracle EPM modules and data sources.
• Monitor performance and ensure data integrity across environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data loads, calculations, and reporting.
