Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is seeking an Environmental & Social Risk Management (ESRM) Officer to develop and implement the ESRMS, embedding ESRM within the Bank's enterprise risk practices and advancing sustainability across the organization.

The role includes policy design, risk reporting to Management-level and Board-level committees, KRIs and limits setting, training, and strategic support for ESRM initiatives aligned with BSP expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related disciplines with exposure to risk management, sustainability, ESG, or banking.
Experience in banking, risk management, sustainability/ESG, compliance, corporate planning, or related functions.
Experience in ESRM, sustainable finance, ESG reporting, sustainability frameworks, or regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Designs, coordinates, and implements ESRM processes within the enterprise risk framework.
Drafts ESRM manuals, policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Sets and monitors KRIs and limits for E&S risks; reports risk information to management and boards.
Prepares ESRM-related risk disclosures and supports investor relations materials.
Promotes E&S risk awareness and education to foster responsible decision making.
Performs special projects and ad-hoc tasks for regulators and sustainability committees.
